The Golden State Warriors will battle the Denver Nuggets and the Dallas Mavericks will play the Utah Jazz in the first round of the Western Conference playoffs.
The Warriors finished third in the standings, at 53-29, while the Mavs were fourth, with a 52-30 record. For their part, the Jazz claimed the fifth place, at 49-33, and the Nuggets were sixth, at 48-34.
As a result, Golden State will take on Denver and Dallas will face Utah. The Warriors and the Mavs have the home-court advantage.
West leaders Phoenix Suns (64-18) and 2nd-placed Memphis Grizzlies (56-26) will find out who their opponent will be later this week.
The Grizzlies will play the winner of the Minnesota Timberwolves vs Los Angeles Clippers play-in game on Tuesday, April 12.
For their part, the Suns will face whoever claims the eighth spot through the play-in tournament (April 12-15). The playoffs will tip off on April 16.
