Stephen Curry has been recovering from a left foot injury and the Golden State Warriors will re-evaluate him on April 11.

The superstar guard got injured in the first half of the game vs the Boston Celtics on March 16. He has missed Golden State’s last seven games and will remain out of action for the remaining five regular season games.

In its official announcement, the team said Stephen Curry is progressing well with his recovery and will gradually start individual on-court activities next week.

“We were hoping that maybe he could play one or two games at the end of the regular season, but that was kind of a long shot.

This is how it’s turned out … I’m not too worried about him,” Warriors head coach Steve Kerr told reporters, via Kendra Andrews of ESPN.

Both the team and the two-time NBA MVP are confident he will be back on time for the start of the Western Conference playoffs (April 16).

Stephen Curry is averaging 25.5 points, 6.3 assists and 5.2 rebounds this season. For their part, the Warriors (48-29) are on a four-game skid and have lost seven of their last 10.

However, they have maintained a top four push, which will give them the home-court advantage in the first round of the playoffs.

Elite conditioning is vital to Steph Curry's game. It's something he says he can build/maintain without games. From March 20th.
