The Golden State Warriors crushed the Memphis Grizzlies in Game 3 (112-142) and took the lead in the series (2-1).
Memphis made an explosive start and led by 13 early in the game (21-8). However, Golden State turned things around and outscored its opponents 52-75 between the second and third quarter. The Grizzlies never recovered after that and suffered a blowout loss.
Six players scored in double figures for the winners, with Stephen Curry leading the way with 30 points (7/14 shooting) and 6 assists. The Warriors shot at 63% from the field and 53% from beyond the arc (17/32).
On the other hand, Ja Morant had a game-high 34 points, on 13/21 shooting, along with 7 assists for the losing squad. However, he left the game with an apparent leg injury late in the fourth and is questionable for Monday’s Game 4.
Ja was frustrated after an apparent injury on this play. Hope he's okay 🙏 pic.twitter.com/aXt1GNFkSQ — Bleacher Report (@BleacherReport) May 8, 2022
