Phoenix Suns received good news ahead of the top-seeded clash vs the Miami Heat. Devin Booker, who entered health and safety protocols last week, will return to action Wednesday night, the team announced.
The Suns, who have the best record in the NBA with 52–13, went 3–1 during Booker’s absence.
Their previous matchup earlier this season resulted in a blowout loss for the Suns as the Heat won 123–100.
The Suns are still without Chris Paul, who is dealing with a right thumb injury. Phoenix will also be without Dario Saric, Frank Kaminski and Cameron Johnson.
Booker is the leading scorer for Phoenix. He averages 25.6 with Ayton following him with an average of 16.7 points.

Booker’s season-high points came in January against the Spurs when he scored 48 points. As for the Heat, they have listed Markieff Morris out, while Jimmy Butler and Caleb Martin are questionable.
Butler wasn’t originally on the Miami Heat injury report but was added later. Butler listed as questionable for the matchup due to illness and sinus congestion.
Martin is also questionable due to soreness in his right Achilles, while Morris is out with reconditioning from a neck injury.
The Heat are at 44-22, three games ahead of the Bucks and Philadelphia 76ers in the Eastern Conference standings.
