Phoenix Suns decimated the Los Angeles Lakers at home (111-140) and spoilt LeBron James’ historic night.
The “King” became the first player in NBA history with 30K points, 10K rebounds and 10K assists. What an accomplishment for the four-time NBA champion, who has more Finals appearances (10) than 27 franchises.

James went for 31 points, seven rebounds and six assists vs the Suns. Yet, these numbers were not enough to give the Lakers the win.
Phoenix dominated from start to finish, outscored LA 22-48 in the openng quarter and never looked back. The Suns led by as many as 35 and cruised to an easy victory. The Suns set a new season high in points (140) and remained undefeated vs the Lakers this season (3-0).
The hosts improved to 54-14 and remained on top of the West, having already qualified for the postseason. On the contrary, the Lakers dropped to 29-38 and are just 1.5 games ahead of 10th-placed New Orleans Pelicans (28-40).
Seven players scored in double figures for the winners, with Devin Booker leading the way (30 points). For the visitors, Carmelo Anthony had 18 points off the bench.
Up next, the Suns will battle the Pelicans on Tuesday. For their part, the Lakers will host the Toronto Raptors on Monday.
