Phoenix Suns superstar Chris Paul blasted NBA in the aftermath of Game 4 vs the Dallas Mavericks as fans allegedly assaulted several of his family members during the game.

Paul took the Twitter and called out NBA for letting fans harass players and his families without any real implication, while the league is more sensitive when players “saying stuff to the fans.”

Wanna fine players for saying stuff to the fans but the fans can put they hands on our families….fuck that!! — Chris Paul (@CP3) May 8, 2022

According to ESPN reporter Dave McMenamin, the Phoenix Suns star’s family members, including his mother, Robin Paul, and wife, Jada Crawley, were allegedly harassed and physically contacted by a fan.

The veteran guard’s children were present to witness the incident, McMenamin reports. The Dallas Mavericks released a statement following the incident, calling it “unacceptable behavior.”

Dallas removed the fan, but the Suns’ guard was reportedly concerned with his families safety. Paul fouled out of the game with 8 minutes remaining in the fourth quarter after being limited to five points in 23 minutes.

“The Dallas Mavericks are aware of an incident between a fan and the family of Chris Paul. It was unacceptable behavior and will not be tolerated. The Mavericks, along with American Airlines Center, swiftly removed the fan from today’s game.”
