Steve Kerr opened up about the biggest motivation the Golden State Warriors have in the 2022 NBA playoffs.
The head coach of the Warriors spoke with the media after Game 2 loss to the Memphis Grizzlies (101-106). Memphis tied the series (1-1), ahead of Games 3 and 4 in San Francisco.
“It’s nice to have championship banners in our building and rings at home, but the quest for another banner, another ring, is what drives everybody,” the veteran coach told reporters, via Mark Haynes of Clutchpoints.
Steve Kerr and Golden State played in five straight NBA Finals (2015-2019), claiming the championship three times (2015, 2017, 2018).
