Steve Kerr says Celtics have the momentum on their side ahead of Game 1 vs Warriors

Steve Kerr believes the Boston Celtics have the momentum on their side ahead of Game 1 vs the Golden State Warriors on Thursday.

The veteran coach noted that the seven-game series vs the Miami Heat and the way it ended gives the Celtics the advantage.

“Sometimes you get through the gauntlet like that and you come out on the other side, you’re stronger for it.

So once you get to this point and you get a fresh start, nothing else really matters. You’re here and you lay it on the line,” Steve Kerr said, via C.J. Holmes of the San Francisco Chronicle.

For their part, the Warriors will have a week of rest before the start of the series, while they also have the home-court advantage. Games 1 and 2 will take place in San Francisco on Thursday and Sunday.
