Steve Kerr is expecting the Memphis Grizzlies to bounce back from their Game 1 loss to the Golden State Warriors (117-116).
Even though the veteran coach was happy to see Golden State “steal” the home-court advantage, he acknowledged how tough the Grizzlies are.
“The obvious thing to notice is how tough-minded they are. Two of those four (wins), maybe three of the four, they were down double figures in the fourth quarter.
They are a young, up-and-coming team. Great athleticism. (Coach) Taylor (Jenkins) does an amazing job with them.
They are deep. We have been through this before. You win one game, you move on to the next one,” Steve Kerr told reporters, via Ohm Youngmisuk of ESPN.
Game 2 between the Grizzlies and the Warriors takes place on Tuesday in Memphis. The hosts will aim to even the series and avoid a 2-0 deficit ahead of Games 3 and 4 in San Francisco.
