Steve Kerr shared his excitement about the home-court advantage of the Golden State Warriors in the playoffs.
With just three games left, the Warriors can’t drop lower than the fourth place in the standings. Therefore, they will have the home-court advantage in the first round.
Steve Kerr was happy about that achievement, which gives Golden State fans something to cheer about.
“Yeah, it’s really become for the first time, our home floor and we really do have an advantage.
The first couple of years of Chase we were in the midst of the pandemic and for most of one season we had no fans and part of the other season we just opened up the building and everybody was injured and had the worst record in the league.
We didn’t give our fans anything to cheer about, so this is the first time it’s really all come together and it’s been fun to establish that fact.
I think it’s one of the keys to having a really good season in the NBA is controlling your home court and we’ve been able to do that,” Steve Kerr told the media, including Hedgeout.net, prior to the home game vs the Los Angeles Lakers.
This will be the first time the Warriors will have the home-court advantage since moving to Chase Center (2019). Golden State will take on the Utah Jazz or the Denver Nuggets or the Minnesota Timberwolves in the opening round.
