Steve Kerr shared his excitement about the first playoff game of the Golden State Warriors at Chase Center.
The Warriors moved to Chase Center in 2019. However, they got eliminated from the playoffs both in 2019 and 2020.
This year, though, they finished the regular season in the third place and will host the Denver Nuggets in Game 1 tonight.
“It’s great. We’ve had a great home crowd and great homecourt advantage all year. Chase has been really a fantastic atmosphere in terms of noise, and the crowd’s proximity to the floor.
Some of the new arenas that have been built are expansive and the noise can get lost, this building was built specifically to make the fan experience more intimate and we feel that as a team.
You can really hear our fans out there. It’s exciting to finally have the first official playoff game here,” Steve Kerr told media pregame.
Superstar guard Stephen Curry returns to the lineup after missing 12 games with a left foot injury and will be available for the first playoff game at Chase Center.
