Stephen Curry returned to his usual high standards and the Golden State Warriors emerged victorious vs the Denver Nuggets (113-102).
The superstar guard went for a game-high 34 points (11/21 shooting, 5/12 from beyond the arc) and nine rebounds. Curry also surpassed the 20K-point mark in his NBA career. Jordan Poole and Klay Thompson added 21 and 18 points for the winners, respectively.
On the other hand, Nikola Jokic flirted with another triple-double (23 points, 12 boards, nine assists), while Monte Morris posted 19.

Denver was in control in the first half and led by as many as 14 early in the third (58-72). The Warriors, though, outscored the Nuggets 62-42 in the second half to turn things around. Stephen Curry and co. closed the game on an impressive 13-0 run to seal the deal.
Golden State improved to 45-22 and is now tied with the Memphis Grizzlies for second in the West. At the same time, they avoided the season sweep vs the Nuggets. Denver won the series 3-1.
The Nuggets missed a chance to overcome the fifth-placed Dallas Mavericks (40-26) and remained sixth, at 40-27.
Up next, Stephen Curry and the Warriors will host the reigning champions Milwaukee Bucks on Saturday. For their part, the Nuggets will welcome the Toronto Raptors.
