Stephen Curry says Warriors returning to NBA Finals is ‘definitely sweet’

Stephen Curry shared his excitement about the Golden State Warriors returning to the NBA Finals for the first time since 2019.

The superstar guard said Warriors’ return to the Finals was ‘sweet’ and admitted how hard it was for Golden State to return to the top.

“This one is very sweet just because of where we were in 2019. We never lost faith, but you understand how hard of a process it was going to be to climb that mountain again.

I think internally we are all extremely proud of what it took to get back here. Yeah, it’s definitely sweet based on what we went through,” Stephen Curry said, via The Athletic.

The Warriors will make their sixth NBA Finals appearance in the last eight years. They will now take on the Boston Celtics, who return to the Finals for the first time since 2010. Game 1 is on Thursday in San Francisco.
