Stephen Curry returns to Warriors lineup in Game 1 vs Nuggets

Stephen Curry will be in the lineup of the Golden State Warriors in Game 1 of the playoff series with the Denver Nuggets.

“I will not be generous. Steph (Stephen Curry) will play, I will tell you that. I will not tell you if he’s starting and I will not tell you how many minutes he’s playing. We can move on to question number three,” head coach Steve Kerr told reporters pregame.

The superstar guard missed the last 12 regular season games with a left foot injury and the Warriors were concerned about his availability for Game 1.

However, he scrimmaged on Thursday and is now ready to go. His return is vital for the team, which aims to have a deep playoff run.

Stephen Curry will be on minutes restriction and his matchup with reigning MVP Nikola Jokic headlines the series.

Draymon Green, Klay Thompson and Andrew Wiggins are also good to go for Golden State. On the other hand, Jamal Murray remains out for Denver and it is unclear if he will play in the series.
