Stephen Curry, Jordan Poole combine for 63 points; Warriors take 2-0 series lead vs Nuggets

Stephen Curry and Jordan Poole led the Golden State Warriors to an easy win over the Denver Nuggets in Game 2 (106-126).
The two star guards combined for 63 points in the contest. Jordan Poole scored 29 points, on 10/16 shooting and 5/10 from beyond the arc.
For his part, Stephen Curry added a game-high 34 points off the bench (12/17 shooting, 5/10 from beyond the arc).
On the other hand, five players scored in double figures for the losing squad, with Nikola Jokic having a team-high 26 points and 11 rebounds. The reigning MVP got ejected in the second half.
After a hard-fought battle in the first half (51-57), the Warriors outscored the Nuggets 30-44 in the third quarter and cruised to the victory (81-101).
Golden State now has a 2-0 lead over the Nuggets. The series moves to Denver for Games 3 (April 21) and 4 (April 24).
