Stephen Curry is expected to return to the starting lineup of the Golden State Warriors in Game 5 vs the Denver Nuggets.
The All-Star guard has fully recovered from the foot injury that sidelined him from mid-March to mid-April. Since returning to action a couple of weeks ago, he has seen his time increase steadily.
Steph Curry no longer has any minute restriction. Prevailing expectation is he will return to the Warriors starting lineup in Game 5, but Steve Kerr declined to reveal. — Anthony Slater (@anthonyVslater) April 26, 2022
Stephen Curry started off on a 20-minute limit in the first two games vs the Nuggets. He then broke the 30-minute mark in the last two matchups. He is averaging 27.5 points and 5.5 assists in 28 minutes off the bench.
Golden State leads 3-1 and has a chance to close out the series on Wednesday. If Denver wins, though, they will force a Game 6 on Friday.
