Stephen Curry could miss the opening game between the Golden State Warriors and the Denver Nuggets on Saturday.
Curry is still dealing with a left foot injury (sprained ligament and bone bruise) and his status for Game 1 remains unclear. Steve Kerr described Curry as “day-to-day” on Tuesday.
The Warriors provided an update on his condition earlier tonight, noting he is progressing well with his recovery.

Per the official update, Stephen Curry returned to individual on-court activities last week and ‘may return’ to full team practices this week. His availability for Game 1 vs. the Nuggets “will be based on his continued progress”.
With Curry being out since March 16, the Warriors went 6-6 and finished third in the West (53-29).
