Steph Curry is expected to miss a considerable time with a foot issue. According to Adrian Wojnarowski, the Warriors’ superstar could return by mid-April per the initial evaluation.
That means Curry will be able to play in the postseason. That’s definitely a huge blow for the Warriors, who were missing Draymond Green for almost two months due to a back issue.
According to ESPN’s Ramona Shelburne, Curry will see a specialist for further evaluation. The Warriors will miss their best player in a very crucial part of the season.
They just saw their big three meeting again on the floor after 1,005 days. Thompson played his first game in two seasons in January, before Draymong Green went down with a back issue.
Now, Curry will be sidelined for at least one month. The Warriors sit third in the West with a 47-23 record, one game behind the Memphis Grizzlies.
The Warriors superstar went down with a left foot injury late in the first half after Marcus Smart dove for a loose ball. He had an MRI after the contest, which revealed a sprained ligament.
He initially tried to walk off the pain, but left the game after being checked out on the bench. According to ESPN, there’s no structural damage and Curry is believed to have avoided serious injury.
