Real Madrid cruised to an easy victory over Barcelona in Game 3 of the ACB Finals (81-66) and grabbed the lead (2-1).
After a hard-fought battle in the first half (46-39), the “Whites” tipped off the third quarter on a 9-3 run to extend their lead to 13 (55-42). Yet, the “Blaugrana” used an 0-8 run of their own to cut the deficit to five (55-50).
The hosts bounced back, though, and went on a 17-3 run to bring the lead back to double digits (72-53) and cruise to the victory.
Gabriel Deck led four Real players in double digits with 14 points. On the contrary, Kyle Kuric had a game-high 15 points for the losing squad.
Real Madrid now needs one more win to claim the ACB title. For its part, Barcelona wants to re-claim the home-court advantage. Game 4 is at Wizink Center on Sunday.
