Oriol Pauli has officially returned to FC Barcelona, the club announced Monday. The Spaniard signed a two-year deal with the Catalans. Pauli started his basketball career in Barcelona’s development teams, but he left to pursue a pro career in 2014.
Pauli has played 8 seasons in the Endesa League. The first six years in Gran Canaria, playing a total of 169 games, and the last two in the squad of MoraBanc Andorra (69). He has 238 games in the ACB and has also played in the EuroLeague and the Eurocup.

In the top European competition, he played 29 games with Gran Canaria, while in the Eurocup he played a total of 100 games between Las Palmas and Andorra. He had a breakout year in EuroCup last season.
More specifically, he averaged of 8.2 points, 4.8 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 12.1 rating in 22 minutes in the EuroCup. As for the ACB, Pauli registered averages of 6.4 points and 3.6 rebounds in 22 minutes per game.
Barcelona has already added a few new faces in the roster this season after a disapponting ending in the EuroLeague and the ACB. With Tomas Satoransky, Jan Vesely, Oscar Da Silva and Nikola Kalinic, Barcelona is projected to be among the favorites in the EuroLeague.
