The president of the Denver Nuggets, Tim Connelly, made an interesting statement on Jamal Murray’s availability for the NBA playoffs.
Connelly said he wouldn’t be surprised if Murray played in the first round playoff series vs the Golden State Warriors.
“Not at all. When Jamal feels like he’s ready, he’s gonna sprint out there….He’s in the red zone of recovery,” Denver boss told Vic Lombardi of Altitude 92.5FM.

Jamal Murray last played an NBA game in April 2021, when he suffered an ACL injury. The young guard is in the final stage of his recovery and could make his return in the postseason.
The Nuggets haven’t ruled him out for the playoffs yet and his status remains uncertain. Having Jamal Murray in the lineup will be a huge boost for Denver in the battle with the Warriors.
At the moment, it seems unlikely for Murray to play in Games 1 and 2 on Saturday and Monday. However, he could return for Games 3 and 4 next week.
At the same time, the Nuggets have ruled Facundo Campazzo out, after his one-game suspension from the NBA. The Argentinian guard will return for Game 2.
