The Denver Nuggets stood tall and defeated the Golden State Warriors in Game 4 (121-126) to avoid a series sweep (3-1).

The Nuggets needed two clutch plays by Monte Morris and Will Barton to seal the deal in the final seconds.

Prior to that, Denver took control from the opening tip and led by as many as 17. However, Golden State turned things around and claimed the lead late in the game (121-119). The hosts, though, closed the game on a 0-7 run and remained alive in the series.

Five players scored in double figures for the winners, with Nikola Jokic having 37 points (14/21 shooting), 8 rebounds and 6 assists.

On the other hand, Stephen Curry (33 points) and Klay Thompson (32 points, 7/11 from beyond the arc) combined for 65 points for the losing squad.

The series now moves back to San Francisco for Game 5, which will take place on Wednesday. If Golden State wins, they advance to the Western Conference semi-finals. If they lose, a Game 6 will be played on Friday, April 29.
