Nets sign TJ Warren to one-year deal

The Brooklyn Nets have agreed to an one-year deal with TJ Warren, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.

Warren has played only four games over the past two years, as he was dealing with consecutive stress fractures. However, he has now recovered and is ready for his return.

Warren has only played four games in past two years with consecutive stress fractures in his left foot, but he's recovering can help Nets at both forward spots. Warren averaged nearly 20 points on 53% from the field in 2020. At 29, he'll be a free agent again next year. https://t.co/PWUAOt65cr — Adrian Wojnarowski (@wojespn) July 5, 2022

The 28-year-old forward spent the past three years with the Indiana Pacers and had an amazing run in the NBA Bubble, averaging 26.6 points, 6.3 rebounds, and 2.4 assists in 10 games.

If healthy, he is expected to upgrade the Nets’ backcourt, as the franchise is preparing for a shakeup in the roster, with Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving requesting trades.
