Nets’ Seth Curry could miss the remainder of the regular season with ankle injury

Seth Curry could miss the remaining four regular season games of the Brookyn Nets, as he is dealing with an ankle injury.

As Brooklyn head coach Steve Nash told reporters on Monday, the team is considering ruling Curry out for the next four games.

Since joining the Nets on February 10, Seth Curry has missed only one game. He has been a key player for Brooklyn, averaging 15.1 points (47% from beyond the arc), 2.6 rebounds, and 2.5 assists in 17 games.

“But this is the nature of the NBA… If you’re not playing through something, that’s almost more unique than to carry an injury with you this time of the year,” Nash said on the possibility of Curry playing through injury for the rest of the season, via Dave Early of Clutchpoints.

Brooklyn has clinched its spot in the play-in tournament (40-38) and is now fighting to avoid the 9th or 10th place.

If that happens, they will need two wins to reach the playoffs. But, if they finish 7th or 8th, they will need just a victory to advance to the postseason.

With that in mind, Seth Curry could sit the remaining games in order to be 100% ready in the first play-in game on April 12.
