Los Angeles Lakers dropped another game this season, yet LeBron James remains confident ahead of the last 21 games.

The Lakers lost to the Dallas Mavericks at Crypto.com Arena (109-104), suffering their third straight defeat. As a result, they fell to 27-34 and are only two games ahead of 10th placed New Orleans Pelicans (25-36).

Despite the struggles, superstar forward LeBron James still believes his team can reach the postseason.

“We still have games to play. Until you stomp me out, cut my head off, bury me 12 feet under, then I’ve got a chance. So that’s my confidence.

Obviously, at the end of the day, we got to come in here and win ball games. We got to play better. But, as long as we’ve got more games to play, we should have a chance,” James said afterwards.

The 17-time NBA champions now have their sights set on the clash with the Los Angeles Clippers on Thursday. The Clippers (33-31) have won four straight and are 4.5 games ahead of their rivals.

“I am going to be prepared and ready for the Clippers on Thursday. That’s just my mindset. That’s just who I am,” James noted.

The Lakers have lost six of their last seven games and have won only three times in their last 10 matches.
