Kyrie Irving is accepting the fact that he will likely be back with the Brooklyn Nets next season, despite his trade request.
Per Jake Fischer of Bleacher Report, NBA executives don’t expect the 7-time All-Star to leave Brooklyn by the start of the season in mid-October.
“From my conversations with people in the league, seems pretty clear Kyrie’s accepting the fact that he is overwhelmingly likely to be back in Brooklyn,” Fischer reports, via NBA Central.

So far, only the Los Angeles Lakers have shown interest to land Kyrie Irving, with LeBron James putting pressure to the franchise to trade for Irving. However, the two sides have not reached an agreement yet.
It will not be easy for the Lakers to land Irving because of the Nets’ trade demands. As a result, it is very likely a third team will get involved as a facilitator, with the Houston Rockets and the San Antonio Spurs showing interest to become part of the deal.
