NBA Finals: Golden State looking to strike back against Boston – betting tips

At Chase Center, it is Game 2 of the NBA Finals for the Golden Warriors against the Boston Celtics. Three days ago, we witnessed a great comeback by Ime Udoka’s guys, as they “stole” the home-court advantage (108-120).

They performed really well, especially in the fourth quarter, when they outscored their opponents 40-16. Boston veteran Al Horford led his team with 26 points in his first ever NBA Finals appearance.

Jaylen Brown was crucial (22 points, 7 boards and 5 assists), while Derrick White added 25. For his part, Stephen Curry contributed the most for his team by scoring 34 points.

It is remarkable that he scored 21 points in the first quarter. Since then, the Celtics managed to contain both him and the rest of the Warriors.

This marked their eighth road win in the playoffs this year. Should they win tonight, they will make a huge step into the NBA championship celebration.

On the other hand, Golden State will have a mountain to climb. I believe the Warriors should approach Game 2 of the NBA Finals more focused on both ends of the court. They have no other option but to win tonight.

Therefore, my betting prediction is they will do so (odds at 1.58). In addition, I predict Jayson Tatum to score more than 28 points (odds at 2.25).

He has not stood up to the expectations in Game 1 (12 points, 13 assists). He clearly needs to step up for Boston.

Finally, my fun bet is a combination of the Warriors to win and both teams to score more than 215 points in total (odds at 2.95). I believe offense will play a significant role in Game 2 of the NBA Finals, as it did in the first one.

Safe Bet:

Warriors win (1.58)

Value Bet:

Jayson Tatum over 28.5 points (2.25)

Fun Bet:

GSW win + over 215.5 points in total (2.95)
