NBA Finals: Golden State, Boston back at Chase Center – betting tips

In San Francisco, the Golden State Warriors welcome the Boston Celtics for their fifth game in the NBA Finals (series currently at 2-2).

Last week in Boston, Golden State managed to reclaim the home-court advantage in Game 4 of the NBA Finals (97-107).

Stephen Curry was magnificent for his team (43 points, 10 rebounds, 4 assists). Klay Thompson added 18, while Andrew Wiggins also performed really well (17 points, 16 boards).

For its part, Boston could not keep up where they left off in Game 3 of the NBA Finals. Jayson Tatum contributed with 23 points and 11 rebounds.

However, he missed plenty of his shots (8/23) and is now averaging the same points per game as his teammate Jaylen Brown in the Finals (22.3). It is a fact that he has been underperforming the whole series.

For Game 5, I think the Warriors have the psychological advantage to win. My first betting prediction is that they will do so, and even cover the -4.5 handicap (odds at 1.98).

Stephen Curry has to continue his great performances. Therefore, I pick him to record more than 45 points, rebounds and assists tonight (odds at 2.82).

My last pick will be a fun bet. Despite Tatum’s bad run in the NBA Finals so far, I predict that tonight he will score more than 30 points, along with Stephen Curry (odds at 4.30).

It is time for the two superstars to step up, as the series is heading to its most crucial games. Following tonight’s battle, the two teams will return to TD Garden for Game 6 on Thursday.

Safe Bet:

Warriors win -4.5 (1.98)

Value Bet:

Stephen Curry over 45.5 points, rebounds, assists (2.82)

Fun Bet:

Stephen Curry and Jayson Tatum over 30.5 points (4.30)
