NBA Commissioner Adam Silver not in attendance in Game 6

NBA Commissioner Adam Silver will not be in attendance in Game 6 of the Finals between the Golden State Warriors and Boston Celtics.

Silver entered the Health and Safety protocols on Monday and also missed Game 5. The league did not say if Silver had tested positive for COVID-19 or been deemed a close contact of someone who had, nor released any details about his health.

Adam Silver has been the Commissioner of the league since 2014 and part of his role as Commissioner involves handing out the championship trophy.

At the moment, the Warriors lead the series 3-2. If the Celtics win tonight, they will force a Game 7 on Sunday.
