NBA Commissioner Adam Silver enters Covid-19 protocols

NBA Commissioner Adam Silver has entered the Covid-19 protocols and is not in attendance in Game 5 of the NBA Finals.

This is what the league officially announced, however they did not say if Silver had tested positive for COVID-19 or been deemed a close contact of someone who had.

Adam Silver typically attends all Finals games, yet it is still unclear if he will be in attendance in Game 6 (Thursday) and Game 7 (Monday, if necessary).

Silver has been the Commissioner of the league since 2014 and is the one that hands out the league’s championship trophy.
