Michael Malone wants Nuggets to bring series back to Denver for Game 6

Michael Malone doesn’t give up on the possibility of the Denver Nuggets extending the series vs the Golden State Warriors beyond Game 5.

The veteran coach wants to see his players fight tooth and nail on Wednesday to bring the series back to Denver for a Game 6.

“We’re not just going out to Golden State to close the series out. We’re trying to bring it back,” Malone told media after the 121-126 victory in Game 4.

The Nuggets are still trailing the series (3-1) and are now heading to San Francisco for a crucial Game 5. If they win, they will force a Game 6 on Friday. If they lose, they will get eliminated.

For his part, Klay Thompson made it clear the Warriors should close out the series and not return to Denver for another game.
