The Miami Heat have officially clinched the top spot in the East, after the losses of the Boston Celtics and the Philadelphia 76ers.
The Celtics lost to the Milwaukee Bucks (121-127), while the Raptors defeated the Sixers (114-119) and won the season series (3-1).
Following these results, Miami secured the top spot in the Conference, with just a couple of games left in the regular season.
The top spot in the East means the Heat will have the home-court advantage for as long as they advance through the postseason.

The franchise now has its sights set on its first-round opponent, which will be the eight seed in the conference.
The Miami Heat will not find out who their opponent will be until next Friday, April 15, when the play-in tournament will end.
The Cleveland Cavaliers, Brooklyn Nets, Atlanta Hawks and Charlotte Hornets have secured their place in the play-in.
