Miami, Boston looking to grab edge in Eastern Conference Finals – betting tips

At FTX Arena in Miami, it is Game 5 for the Heat and the Boston Celtics (currently tied at 2-2). Both teams have suffered injuries throughout the series.

Two days ago, Boston prevailed easily (102-82). Jayson Tatum performed really well (31 points, 8 rebounds). Marcus Smart did not compete and is still listed as questionable for Game 5.

Ime Udoka’s guys were dominant in rebounding, as they recorded 21 more than their opponents in the contest (60-39).

For their part, the Heat were clearly affected by Tyler Herro’s absence (also listed as probable tonight) and Jimmy Butler’s physical condition (6 points, 7 boards).

Game 5 is going to be different, as the Miami Heat are looking unbeatable in their home-court, no matter what the circumstances are. Despite their loss in Game 2 (102-127), they have won nine of their last 10 games at FTX Arena.

However, due to the fact that the first two games of the series in Miami ended in a high score, I believe Game 5 will be no different point-wise. Therefore, my betting prediction is over 203.5 points in total (odds at 1.88).

In addition, I predict that in-form Jayson Tatum will once again score more than 30 points tonight (odds at 2.42).

Finally, I am expecting a great performance from Jimmy Butler. He has been struggling in the last two games due to his knee injury. It is time for him to step up. My fun bet is that he will finish the game with a double-double (odds at 3.15).

Safe Bet: Over 203.5 points (1.88)

Value Bet: Jayson Tatum over 30.5 points (2.42)

Fun Bet: Jimmy Butler double-double (3.15)
