NBA superstar Luka Doncic has no intention to get heavily involved in the offseason signings of the Dallas Mavericks.
This is what Tim MacMahon of ESPN reports, adding that the Slovenian superstar doesn’t want to act as a recruiter and convince player to join Dallas.
“They seek his input, but he’s not heavily involved in personnel decisions. He has not shown interest in being heavily involved.
He spends much of his offseason in Europe. He’s not a guy who has shown the desire to be a recruiter,” said MacMahon of Luka Doncic during a recent appearance on the Hoop Collective podcast with Brian Windhorst.
So far, the Mavs have bolstered their frontline by signing big man Christian Wood, while they saw Jalen Brunson join the New York Knicks.
For his part, Luka Doncic is preparing for playing with Slovenia in the FIBA competitions this summer (2023 Basketball World Cup Qualifiers, EuroBasket).
