The Slovenian superstar dominated every matchup the Suns threw in the way. Facing the top-seeded Suns, the Mavericks weren’t expected to put up this much of a fight. Game 7 will be in Phoenix, and Dallas has struggled away from home in this series.
However, Doncic is a different beast in a “win or go home” scenario. The last time he played in a Game 7, the Dallas superstar went off for 46 points and 14 assists, but, the Mavs superstar cares only about winning.
“I don’t care about stats as long as we win,” Doncic told reporters. “If we win, I’m good. The statistics don’t really matter to me, but if we win, it’s going to be amazing. I think we won this game on the defensive end, and we’ve got another game.”
Game 7 takes place on Sunday.
