Argentinian national Luca Vildoza is expected to sign a deal with the Milwaukee Bucks, Adrian Wojnarowski reports.
Bucks are expected to finalize the deal in the coming days and he will be active for the team in the playoffs.
Vildoza signed a deal with the New York Knicks last season, but a foot injury and prolonged recovery resulted in his release prior to the start of the 2021-22 season.
Vildoza had negotiated a contract buyout with Baskonia of the Spanish ACB League before agreeing to the deal with the Knicks in May.
He stayed in Baskonia for five seasons before making the jump to the NBA. He has 106 EuroLeague games under his belt averaging 8.1 points and 3.6 assists.
He is also a member of the Argentinian national team. He played in Tokyo Olympics last summer putting up 7.0 points, 2.0 rebounds and 3.0 assists.
Vildoza biggest moment came in 2019 helping Argentina to win a silver medal in the 2019 Basketball World Cup in China. He also was the 2020 ACB Finals MVP winning the ACB League that season.
