Los Angeles Lakers list LeBron James, Avery Bradley as questionable vs Clippers

Los Angeles Lakers could miss LeBron James and Avery Bradley in their clash with rivals Los Angeles Clippers on Thursday.

According to Ryan Ward of Lakers Nation, six players are on the injury list ahead of Thursday’s game.

Anthony Davis and Kendrick Nunn are still out and ways away from their return to the floor. For their part, James and Bradley are dealing with injuries to right and left knee, respectively. The Los Angeles Lakers list both players as questionable for the contest.

In addition, Mason Jones is with the South Bay Lakers (G-League), while Talen Horton-Tucker is probable (left ankle sprain).

The 17-time NBA champions have been in free fall lately. They have won three of their last 10 games and have lost six of their last seven. In addition, they have dropped three straight and are seven games behind .500 (27-34).

Currently just two games ahead of the New Orleans Pelicans (25-36), the Los Angeles Lakers need to play with a sense of urgency.

Superstar forward LeBron James remains confident the team can fight for the postseason. “We still have games to play. Until you stomp me out, cut my head off, bury me 12 feet under, then I’ve got a chance. So that’s my confidence,” he said.

On the other hand, the Clippers (33-31) have won four straight and are 4.5 games ahead of their rivals. The two teams faced each other on Friday, with the Clippers earning the 105-102 victory.
