LeBron James opened up about how important winning mentality is for him and how upset he is when his teammates don’t have the same passion to win.
The four-time NBA champion even said he is ‘obsessed with win or bust’ and gets frustrated when there is a losing culture in the team.
“I’m obsessed with win or bust. What makes me have sleepless nights is when you don’t have everyone that feels the same way on your club.
It’s time when I wish I was a tennis player or a golfer where it was literally like, ‘Look in the mirror, motherf–ker. It’s you versus you,'” said James, via Darryn Albert of Larry Brown Sports.
Since joining the Los Angeles Lakers in 2018, LeBron James has won the NBA championship once (2020) and has missed the playoffs twice. The “King” is hopeful the 17-time NBA champions will return to title contention next year.
