The Los Angeles Lakers took to Twitter on Wednesday and officially released their preseason schedule. According to the schedule, the 17-time NBA champions will play six preseason games within 11 days.
They will tip off their preseason with a home game vs the Sacramento Kings on October 3 and will end it with a visit to the Golden 1 Center to face the Kings again (October 14).
In the meantime, they will play the Phoenix Suns, Minnesota Timberwolves (twice) and the Golden State Warriors.

After a disastrous season (33-49), which saw the team miss the playoffs, the Lakers aim to return to title contention.
They hired a new head coach in Darvin Ham, while it remains unclear if Russell Westbrook will remain with the squad. This will also be the 20th preseason for superstar forward LeBron James.
The Lakers are now expected to reveal the starting date of their training camp. For its part, the NBA will announce the regular-season schedule at some point in July.
