After dropping the last two games, the Miami Heat will try to get back on track at their home arena. However, they will not have Kyle Lowry available for the game.
Lowry has been dealing with a hamstring injury and not been the same player as of late because of it. The veteran guard will be unavailable for Tuesday’s contest, Tim Reynolds reports.
He missed the first two games of the current series altogether due to the injury, but he was on court for Game 3 and 4. The Heat point guard registered just six points on 3-of-14 shooting.
The Heat are coming off two consecutive losses in Philadelphia. In addition to Lowry, reserve center Dewayne Dedmon sat out Game 4 with an illness and his status for Game 5 isn’t known.
UPDATE: Kyle Lowry (hamstring), Dewayne Dedmon (non-Covid illness), Caleb Martin (ankle), P.J. Tucker (calf), Max Strus (hamstring), Gabe Vincent (knee) and Tyler Herro (ankle) are all listed as questionable to play in tomorrow’s Game 5 vs the Sixers. — Miami HEAT (@MiamiHEAT) May 9, 2022
As a result, Bam Adebayo is currently the only body able to compete against the Philadelphia 76ers superstar Joel Embiid. Embiid missed the series’ first two but he returned for Game 3 and 4.
With the Sixers back to full strength, the Heat are going to have to dig deep to overcome adversity and win the series. Game 5 takes place on Tuesday.
