Reporting from Philadelphia
Kyle Lowry returned to action for the Miami Heat after missing four games with a hamstring injury. The veteran guard got injured in Game 3 vs the Atlanta Hawks and hadn’t played since then.
However, he was in the lineup for Game 3 vs the Philadelphia 76ers and spent 25 minutes on the floor. He went scoreless (0/4 from the field) and had 4 rebounds and 3 assists.
“Yeah, you know I had one good day of working out, kind of half day, I’ve just got to find a rhythm. I didn’t expect to be amazing tonight, I didn’t expect to have zero points, but just trying to get a feel for the game and be out there especially in this hostile situation.
Try to get out there with my group and we didn’t do a good job tonight and we’ve gotta bounce back and continue to get better for the next game,” Kyle Lowry told media after Game 3 defeat.
The All-Star guard and the Heat still lead the series 2-1 and will aim to bounce back in Game 4 on Sunday. Lowry is expected to have more playing time vs Philadelphia on Sunday’s contest.
