Kyle Lowry believes the Miami Heat are getting closer to their peak performance ahead of the playoffs.
With just 10 games remaining in the regular season, Kyle Lowry thinks the Heat need a couple more steps to reach their peak.
“Still not there, we are closer and we should be one more step until we are there, but it’s just about communication and understanding what’s going on and the coverages and situations that we are going to be in and we are all on the same page.
And we haven’t had an opportunity to have our finishing lineup as much as we’d like and we don’t even know what our finishing lineup will be so you know we still have time and we still have situations where we will adjust and adapt and get better,” the All-Star guard told the media, including Hedgeout.net, after the loss to the Philadelphia 76ers (106-113).
Miami currently holds the top spot in the Eastern Conference (47-25). The Heat have three teams just two games below them (Milwaukee Bucks, Sixers, Boston Celtics). Up next, the squad returns home to play the Golden State Warriors.
Kyle Lowry and the Heat don’t have a tough schedule ahead. But, they will face a couple of fellow East contenders, like the Brooklyn Nets and the Boston Celtics.
