New York Knicks are desperate for point guard play this offseason and the option are all open with the team going in the lottery at no.11. While no.11 has produced some top-end talent in the last few seasons in the draft, the Knicks could go for another route.

According to Marc Berman of NY Post, the Knicks might have interest for two Indiana Pacers’ players this summer. More specifically, Malcolm Brogdon and Myles Turner. Both players could be viable options for New York.

While Turner is an intriguing big, the Knicks are more in need of veteran guard Malcolm Brogdon, per Berman. Brogdon will be entering the final year of a four-year, $85 million contract he signed with Indiana.

He will make $22.6 million during the 2022-23 season, per Spotrac. He was limited to 36 games this past year while dealing with an Achilles injury. Injuries have been the only downside to what Brogdon can offer, as he never played more than 56 games in the last three seasons.

In limited action in 2021-22, he averaged 19.1 points, 5.1 rebounds and 5.9 assists. The Knicks finished 37-45 this season and fell short of the playoffs. New York has the No. 11 pick in the 2022 NBA draft.

Berman refers to G League Ignite point guard talent Dyson Daniels as a potential selection in the 2022 NBA Draft for the New York franchise.
