Klay Thompson wants Warriors to close out the series in Game 5

Klay Thompson addressed the loss to the Denver Nuggets and was clear about what the Golden State Warriors should do in Game 5.

The All-Star guard doesn’t want his team to return to Denver and wants Golden State to close out the series on Wednesday.

“We gotta go in with the attitude that, alright, it’s a must win. We’d like to have some rest before the next series. We’d like to not travel back to Denver,” Klay Thompson told media after Game 4.

The Warriors currently lead the series 3-1. If they win Game 5, they will advance to the Western Conference semi-finals. If Denver wins, though, they will force a Game 6 on Friday, April 29.
