Klay Thompson said the Golden State Warriors have no reason to panic, despite losing the home-court advantage in the NBA Finals.
The superstar guard expects the Warriors to regroup and come back better in Game 2, aiming to even the series vs the Boston Celtics.
“It was a tough loss, especially the way we did lose, squandering a 15-point lead. Very, very rare for us. It’s not the end of the world, and we’ll regroup tomorrow.
We’ll bring a much better effort on Sunday. there’sno reason to panic. I like our chances still, and we’ll go home and we’ll digest what happened. I know we’ll be better Game 2,” Klay Thompson told media, including Hedgeout.net, afterwards.
Thompson went for 15 points in Game 1, on 6/14 shooting and 3/7 from beyond the arc. However, these numbers were not enough to give Golden State the victory (120-108).
