Jackson last coached back in 2014, when he was the head coach of the Golden State Warriors. Since then, he has worked as commentator for major TV networks.
For his part, Brown has worked as a Warriors assistant coach since 2016. Clifford was the head coach of the Charlotte Hornets and the Orlando Magic and was hired by the Brooklyn Nets as a consultant in 2021.
Whoever takes over Sacramento will have the difficult task to bring the franchise back to the NBA playoffs after 16 years.
