Brooklyn Nets superstar Kevin Durant has addressed several issues in his interview with talk show legend David Letterman. Durant has appeared in Letterman’s Netflix show and talked about different subjects, and he included some interesting basketball quotes.

Durant has been a coachable player throughout the year despite being one of the biggest stars in the league. The Nets’ superstar was called to address what’s the biggest issue for a coach in the NBA.

“Managing personalities. I think that’s the biggest thing. We all know how to play. We all know all the terminology. We know every single scheme that can be … Managing personalities, I think that their biggest job,” Durant said.

Durant is not wrong, especially when we’re talking about big NBA stars. The NBA head coach will need to keep the balance in the locker room and create a good space for the players to perform at their best of their abilities.

The Nets obviously could not create that safe space for the players due to outside distraction. Kyrie Irving did not play for the team until March due to his stance on COVID-19 vaccine.

In February, James Harden demanded a trade, and he got shipped to Philadelphia for Ben Simmons. Simmons did not play all season after remaining inactive for the first 3-4 months. He then suffered a back injury and went through a surgery to repair the issue.

Brooklyn’s head coach Steve Nash had to deal with all that and prepare a team to win a championship. That was almost impossible as the Nets got together as a team at the end of the season.

The Nets experienced a painful first-round exit to the Boston Celtics, who dominate through four games to advance to the next round. Durant and co. will hope to bounce back next season as the next prepare for a huge offseason.
