Jimmy Butler noted the importance of team chemistry for the Miami Heat in their effort to make a deep playoff run.
The superstar of the Heat said it will be crucial for the team to be healthy and at its peak in the last part of the season. He made it clear, though, that chemistry will be the key in the postseason.
“We are alright. I feel as though we are at the top of the East for a reason, you know it’s all about being healthy at the end of this thing and playing our best basketball at the right time and figuring out the little bit of kinks that we do have.
But we have a group of guys that want to win, that play for one another, that get along with one another and I think that’s going to be the biggest key for us down the stretch,” Jimmy Butler told media, including Hedgeout.net, after the loss to the Philadelphia 76ers (106-113).
Miami currently is on top of the East, with a 47-25 record. They are close to clinching the home-court advantage, as they are five games above the Chicago Bulls (42-30).
At the same time, they have the upper hand in the battle for the top spot in the conference.
However, with three top contenders in Bucks, Celtics and Sixers just 2.5 games below, Jimmy Butler and the Heat know they need to reach their peak as soon as possible to finish on top.
