Quin Snyder and the Utah Jazz will discuss their future, following the elimination from the NBA playoffs.
Snyder and the Jazz were defeated by the Dallas Mavericks in Game 6 (98-96) and lost the series (4-2).
“Sources say his status will be dealt with one way or the other in the coming days and weeks. Snyder has been one of the best coaches in the league over the last eight seasons.
According to sources, he still very much has not lost the locker room, or the respect of his players.
Sources also indicate the Jazz’s front office has been happy, overall, with his work. At the same time, there has been significant speculation regarding his future,” The Athletic’s Tony Jones reports.
Snyder has one guaranteed year remaining on his contract and all options are on the table, given there have been no discussions on a new contract.
The Jazz have made the playoffs in each of the last six years, but have never advanced beyond the second round during that stretch.
