Jayson Tatum erupts for 46 points; Celtics force Game 7 vs Bucks

Jayson Tatum made a stellar offensive performance and led the Boston Celtics past the Milwaukee Bucks in Game 6 (108-95).

The All-Star forward erupted for a game-high 46 points, on 17/32 shooting and 7/15 from beyond the arc. He also had 9 rebounds and 4 assists. In addition, Jaylen Brown and Marcus Smart posted 22 and 21 points, respectively, for the winners.

On the other hand, Giannis Antetokounmpo (6 assists) posted a monster double-double of 44 points (14/30 shooting) and 20 boards for the losing squad. Jrue Holiday added 17 points for Milwaukee, on 7/17 shooting.

Boston took control after the first quarter and led by 10 at halftime (53-43). The Celtics led by as many as 18 (68-50), but the reigning champions cut the deficit to four (85-81).

With Jayson Tatum hitting consecutive three-pointers, though, Boston brought its lead back to double digits and won the game.

The Celtics managed to re-claim the home-court advantage and bring the series back to TD Garden for a Game 7. Whoever wins will reach the Eastern Conference Finals and will take on the Miami Heat.
